Uvalde Police Sgt. Ramon Morin analyzes a gun recently pulled from the Leona River as detective Renato Lualemaga takes a photo. The duo were among several officers that spent the morning pursuing Caleb Nathaniel Apodaca, who threw the gun into the river following a disturbance in the 100 Block of N. Camp St. on June 20. Fire marshal Juan “Tati” Hernandez ultimately fished the gun out with a magnet. (June 23, 2024 -- Pete Luna | Uvalde (Texas) Leader-News)
